6th Grade Orientation

We ask that ALL NEW STUDENTS be present for their 6TH GRADE ORIENTATION on Friday, August 6th from 8:00-11:00 am is for students only and will last the full three hours. It will help you get ready for middle school with all of the basics (purchase your P.E. clothes, get your school ID card, pick up your schedule and even meet some of your teachers!), get to know your new campus, connect with other 6th graders, and introduce you to your new 7th and 8th grade INSPIRE Mentors. Granada’s INSPIRE Mentors and ASB Representatives will not only assist you through all of the necessary aspects of your middle school Orientation, but they will teach you all there is to know to be a successful Matador all year long as well. You’ll leave Granada’s campus feeling like the Matador you already are! It is an opportunity you do not want to miss!

Matador Pride Day (7th and 8th Graders)

We ask that ALL 7th & 8th GRADE STUDENTS be present for their School  Business Orientation on Friday, August 9th: The following times are organized by last names:Last names that start with: A-H 1-2 PM, I-P 2-3 PM, Q-Z 3-4 PM

Orientation is your opportunity to prepare yourself by purchasing all of the Granada items you’ll want to be sure you have before school starts—including your new 7th or 8th grade spirit shirt and P.E. clothes.  Students will be tending to all of the basic necessities such as purchasing Granada gear, getting their school ID cards, and picking up class schedules. You will only need to bring the attached Granada Gear Order Form and applicable payments (CASH ONLY)—and, for 7th graders, proof of T-Dap vaccination if you haven’t already submitted this to the office. Please note that the school office will open on August 2nd during the hours of 8-12 and 1-4 up until the first day of school. Remember, dress code and school rules apply any time you are on campus.
